Off to Mykonos, romantically called the Island of the Winds, in reality the Windy Island because it’s windy, really windy and the water can be, oh so, cold. Still, you can’t keep them away from this Cycladic paradise: couples, singles, gay, straight, party-ers, relaxers.
There is really something for everyone and it’s small enough to disappear, if you know where to go (more on that in a later post). I have my rash guard to, not only, keep me warm in the chilly July Aegean, but also, protect me from the sun, my good read and some cash in hand..so no complaints here.
